The RPG Meister Gazette

We've Been Cooking

It may have seemed quiet at RPG Meister, but we have been cooking for you.

A busy kitchen, still cooking

Building a cool adventure in the app is quite a challenge. Lots of rooms to add, then all the links that tie them together — quite a job. So we packed starter maps you can add to a campaign and give your campaign building a running start.

You choose which maps to import. Nothing is dropped into a new campaign automatically.

The Inn

Which adventure does not start at the inn? Customize it: move some links, remove some rooms, and you have a thieves' guild. Or a seedy harborside bar.

The Whispering Depths

A cave where the party can go dungeon crawling. Mix up the links, change some descriptions: dwarf mines. Different encounters: goblin lair.

The Walled Manor

A large mansion with hidden passages. House of a noble, a vampire, a haunted house…

How Zones Work

We also added a tutorial zone. Not so much for you — you have probably figured the editor out already.

Import How Zones Work, then Export this zone to the clipboard and paste it into your favorite AI chat. Ask it to help you author new rooms in the same schema. The zone's own notes cover keys, versions, and direction numbers, so you do not have to worry about those.

The maps, the editor, and the graph itself are covered in the Zones campaign guide.

And the rest

Other than that, we stomped on some bugs and made some UI tweaks.
